Puppy lovers--NO, money lovers‎

We purchased a puppy at this establishment in which I thought the business owners were such animal lovers-- Oh how wrong we were. Our puppy became sick and in critical care only after 2 days. She was admitted to hospital on IV's, blood transfusions, antibiotics and a multidude of blood sticks. The business owner of the puppy store thinks she is a Vet, saying it is hypoglcemia. Oh, contrare-- this poor puppy had much more going on then that. After over a $2000. bill (not including the $925. cost of the puppy), she had sadly slipped farther away. With 24 hour care of the doc's and vet techs and reg. family visits- she was still lost. We only had her for 2 days, but fell in love with her. I am sending out a plea tro anyone who wishes to purchase a puppy there. DON'T.. obviously, sick puppies are getting through and the owners of the store do not stand by the Florida state law of 14 days guarentee. WE DO NOT WANT ANYONE TO GO THROUGH THIS..Hypoglcemia does NOT occur as they ...

Puggles‎

My wife and I considered adding a new dimmenison to our lives. So we researched, to our best ability, to find the right puppy to fit into our busy and sometimes unpredictable Key West lifestyle. We had been by Dogs on Duval a million times, its probably the busiest sidewalk show stopper on Duval. Those little puppies are so cute that its hard to resist the tempation to just spontaneously buy one and take it home. Once we made the decision to take the plunge we talked in lenght to the owner and was amazed at how much we didnt know about the resonsibilites of being a new dog owner. If it hadnt been for her advice upfront before we even purchased our dog and after, we wouldnt have made it. Now everybody in Key West knows us because of Mugsley our 1 y/o perfect Puggle.‎

Can you kiss a puppy too much?‎

when I first saw our puppy in the window at Dogs On Duval, the whole town had already seen her also and fell in love with her like my husband and I did. She has been the greatest gift because she is so loving and smart! She is also so strong and healthy that we can barely keep up with her on a daily basis. The owner really loves and takes personal care of all of the puppies and every time ours sees her she runs right up to her like she remembers her and loves her. The owner was also very clear on what not to do to make sure the puppy didnt get sick in any way when she was such a baby and I followed all instructions and now we have the best puppy ever!‎

Best Damn Dog Store in Key West‎

I love this store. It is excellent. You get to see the puppies, all kinds of different breeds to select from. Employees are right on the money. No "fing" around. Prices are reasonable. By far the best dog store in Key West.‎

Very conscientious, caring personnel in this pet store, not to mention how well informed and educated they are on care and husbandry of their little babies. They go the extra mile to educate the new owner with information they need to take proper care of their new family member. I love doing business with this store.‎

A Happy Home for Two Yorkies‎

After shopping around for over a year, one of my best friends was able to finally find not only one, but two beautiful miniature yorkies with me at Dogs on Duval. The owner of the shop went to great lengths to make sure that we were well educated and informed on how to treat and care for such beautiful, but let's be honest, very fragile puppies because of their size. We are so thankful for that advice. Our puppies are wonderful additions to our families.‎
